Get Egged!

Have you started thinking Spring yet?  My mind can't get there quickly enough and I wish the weather would cooperate and warm up!  One of my favorite parts of Halloween is being BOOed!  It is always such a fun idea and my kids love being sneaky.

Whose kids wouldn't LOVE to see something like this on their front porch?  This year for Easter we will be egging others in our neighborhood.

*Please note: All free printables are only for readers of Creative Preschool Resources . If you enjoy this printable, please take a second to "follow" us to receive email updates or follow via Facebook {top sidebar}. Thank you!

What to do:

  1. Download and print out 2 copies of the "We've Been Egged" and the directions.  There are directions for generic Easter and for a Christian Easter focused on blessing others by leaving them encouraging notes in addition to the treat!

  2. Hide notes or treats in a dozen plastic eggs and secretly hide them in front of 2 houses.  Leave the "We've Been Egged" sign AND the directions in a small basket, cup etc. on the front porch.  You could also leave a yummy treat for the family to share like cookies or homemade bread {just a thought, yeah, I love carbs}.

  3. You can either ring the bell and RUN your tail off {I'm thinking I wouldn't be fast enough anymore for this} OR just leave it on the porch to be DISCOVERED!

Have a blast spreading Easter cheer to those around you!  {And don't blame any skinned knees on me}  :-)

**  By request:  Here is a version of I've Been Egged with 4 on a page for use in a school or workplace.  Enjoy!

  8. Fantastic and Adorable! I have 19 Girl Scout Brownies and they Boo'd each others lockers this year in school. I would love to start the egging. Any chance you could change the wording on the We've been egged, and make an I've been egged sign so they can tape it to the front of their lockers? (even smaller, like 4 to a page would be great.)
Thanks for yet another great idea!!
