LoVe Blocks

There are few holidays that I love more than Valentine's day {Christmas & Easter}.  So I just had to make something
cute adorable for my mantle to celebrate the day of love.  I made these wood blocks to place above my fireplace.

Supplies Needed:

  • Wood blocks (choose your dimensions based on your vinyl letter sizes).  I used 2x4 and 2x6 pieces cut at various lengths.

  • Sander or sand paper

  • White vinyl letters {cut on your Cricut or Silhouette or by hand}

  • Acrylic Paint & sponge brush

  • Finishing spray or Mod Podge

You are going to love how these look in your house!

  1. Cut your wood pieces to desired sizes.

  2. Sand your wood blocks.

  3. Paint 1-3 coats of acrylic paint with your desired color.  {Let dry overnight}

  4. Gently sand all of the sides of the blocks to give a distressed look.

  5. Spray with finishing spray or brush/sponge on mod podge {let dry}

  6. Apply your vinyl letters & display

ENJOY your adorable letters!
